Think Pink Living Centre Construction Commencement

Mirvac and their trusted partners are contributing over $700,000 to deliver the Think Pink Foundation’s new purpose-built Living Centre at Forge, Yarra's Edge.

This significant contribution continues the near decade relationship Mirvac has had supporting Think Pink, an independent charitable foundation that provides professional and caring holistic support to patients, their families and carers at any stage of their journey with breast cancer. Think Pink will move from its current premises on St Kilda Road to Mirvac’s award winning Yarra’s Edge community in early 2020.

The Think Pink Living Centre is a unique state-of-the-art, independent and non-clinical wellness facility. The Living Centre provides professional and caring holistic support completely free of charge to patients, their families and carers at any stage of their journey with breast cancer.

The centre has been designed by Mirvac’s multi-award winning inhouse design team Mirvac Design and its construction managed by Mirvac Construction. King Living have significantly contributed to the new Living Centre by donating custom made furniture. Temperzone, Miele, Dulux, Blind Concepts, Harvey Norman Commercial and Godfrey Hirst have contributed to the new Living Centre by donating mechanical ventilation units, kitchen appliances, paint, curtains, household appliances and floor coverings respectively, while Corrs Chambers Westgarth, WSP Australia, Hollerich Town Planning, PLP Building Surveyors & Consultants, Simpson Kotzman and Acoustic Logic have come on board as consultants. A vertical garden in the waiting area upon arrival, will also be delivered by Virid Vertical Gardens.
